This 24V RGB LED strip light is designed with 120 LEDs per meter, that is 600 LEDs on a 5m reel light strip. With such high LED density, it creates spotless colorful lighting when used with many types of aluminum channel profiles. The RGB LED strip comes with strong 3M double sided tape for easy installation. You can also select an LED aluminum channel for better heat dissipation. 12V or 24V RGB LED strip?

The voltage selection depends on your project. Basically the difference lies in that 24V LED strips are better for longer run than the 12V strips. It is caused by the voltage drop that exists for any LED strip light. All other factors equal, 24V LED strips have less voltage drop than 12V versions. If you want to install for large scale, we recommend you choose the 24V strips. But be aware that 12V strips can have a wider range of use than 24V, because many places only provide 12V power, such as cars, RVs, boats, yachts etc.

Note: for either 12V or 24V RGB LED strip, an RGB LED controller or DMX controller is required.
