This RGB white LED strip light is equipped with 4-in-1 5050 RGBW LED nodes, emitting vivid colorful light and 6500K pure cool white light. The 6500K cool white light produced is the daylight bright white, the high quality pure white light. With this unique 5050 RGBW LED strip, you can enjoy any colorful light, or choose the pure white light, or blend the pure white into any colorful light to create various hue of colorful lighting. It comes with strong 3M double side tape. Solderless connectors are also available for making turns or connecting two pieces of LED strips in straight line.

With the RGBW LEDs specially selected, you will find that this RGB white LED strip emits 20% brighter colorful light and pure white light. It also delivers consistent and vibrant colors. It is the choice of many professionals for projects where both vivid colors and 6500K pure white are needed.

This RGB white LED strip REQUIRES an RGBW LED controller or DMX controller to work.

Should you choose RGB or RGBW LED strip lights?

The major difference between RGB and RGBW LED strips is that RGBW strip can provide better quality white light. The better quality white means a white light with pure color temperature. For example, RGB LED strip light can produce white that is close to cool white, but not pure cool white. Better quality also means a high color render index(CRI) that is more comfortable to human eyes. The white light emitted by mixing RGB together is poor in CRI value, not comparable to the pure white LEDs. So if you need not only RGB color changing lighting, but also better white lighting, you can choose RGBW or RGB CCT tunable white LED strip lights.

Another difference between RGB and RGBW LED strips is that RGBW LED light strips can generate richer, bolder and brighter colors than RGB strips. This is because the white light can be blended into color light to enrich the mixing result.
